Product Description

Mannheim Furnace in China
Before the 1990s,the technology of producing potassium sulfate in China was empty,there was almost zero production of potassium sulfate at that time. All the potassium sulfate fertilizers were imported from overseas,which costed lots of foreign currency every year. To save the costs,some chemical factories began to buy the technology and facilities of mannheim furnace to realize the local production of potassium sulfate.
 
However,the cost for importing a single facility was as much as 30,000,000 RMB,which was about 4.4 million US dollars,it was a big amount of money at that time. The high cost was a barrier to enlarge the producing capacity,and therefore the potassium sulfate supply in China was extremely limited.
 
To change such situation,we began to develop the mannheim furnace with our own technology. We started with a small and experimental furnace in 1989,and two years later,which was 1991,they built a 2 m diameter furnace in a chemical factory,and again two years later in 1993,we built a 4.5 m diameter industrialized furnace in another chemical factory. In 1996,we built an international standard 6 m diameter furnace in a chemical factory in Dalian,and from that time on,the technology of mannheim furnace was rapidly adopted in lots of chemical factories in China.

Features of our Mannheim furnaces:
1. The high temperature in the combustion chamber may cause collapse. This gives the
furnace a short life cycle, especially when using natural gas as fuel. Generally it happens
with in 3 to 8 month of production. Our furnaces can last more than 18 months without a
collapse.
2. Our technology has overcome the acid leakage in the furnace bed.
3. The acid intake pipe lasts longer. The furnace can be operated for more than 12 months without changing the acid intake pipe.
4. The revolution of furnace can be adjusted according to the production.
5. We can recycle the waste gas according to the physical circumstances of the production plant to save the energy and reduce waste discharge.
